MAISEY'S GROWING

I was talking to my sister Steph and she was saying how much Maisey is filling out. She is growing so fast and seeing my sister's baby makes me realize just how much she has grown in a couple of months. She is starting to grab for things and likes to chew on her hands. Here is Maisey getting a bath this morning. She is definitely getting bigger.

COUSINS, IDENTICAL COUSINS

Yesterday I took my sister Amanda dinner. This was the first time I was able to go since she got out of the Hospital(our other kids have been sick so I had to wait until Kevin was home to watch them.)My mom was there watching the Jazz game so I was able to get a picture with her grandma.

No, I'm just kidding our girls look nothing alike. I was glad that we finally could get a picture of them together. I have a feeling they are going to be really good friends when they get older.

WE LOVE THE UTAH JAZZ!!

Kevin took Tarrin to the Jazz game tonight. Tarrin loves going to the games, and I love the fact that they get some one on one time. It gets hard to have those times when you have a lot of kids. Wyatt is excited to go when he gets a little older. Here is Tarrin enjoying a big ice cream cone. Kevin bought Tarrin a Boozer jersey a few months back. We always make sure he wears it for good luck.

HAIR CUT

So for people that have not seen me for awhile, I did cut my hair about four inches. I think it looks about the same only a little shorter. Kevin about had a heart attack and threw a fit. He likes my hair long but I needed something new and I thought it would be nice for summer. Don't worry Kev, It grows back fast and before you know it, It will be long again. I didn't end up playing futsol last night because they were setting up for a funeral. A two year old in our community got hit by a car when his uncle was backing up out of the driveway. I am writing about this because I hear so much of this happening. So if you read this please be careful when your backing up. I read that the statistics are every week two children under the age of two are hit by a car. If you drive a S.U.V be especially careful because you can't see anything. I have started walking around my vehicle before I even get in to drive. We have a lot of small children on our road. Today was pretty much a normal day. Tarrin and Wyatt both had school, so I went and visited with Kevin at the Dealership.

FUTSOL TIME

Yeah, I'm so excited! Fut sol practice starts tonight. I know it's only church ball but you wouldn't believe how competitive people can get. I loved playing soccer when I was younger but now that I'm older I love playing church futsol(It's indoor so not as much running)I am hoping to lose these last ten pounds that do not want to come off. I guess it doesn't help that I still have all my cravings for sweets. I love how much some of these girls get into it. I also like getting to know people that I probably wouldn't get to know otherwise. I'll let you know how things go, I haven't done any kind of exercise since the baby so I hope I'm not carried off on a stretcher.

celebrity look alikes

Bergsjo Look-alike Meter

Okay so I found this site and thought it would be fun to see what the meter said. I really thought Wyatt would look more like me since everyone say's he looks more like my side of the family but I guess it say's he equally looks like me and Kevin. I knew Maisey would look more like her dad. I didn't even try Tarrin and Trey sice I know they look more like there dad. It was really fun to see what it said. Emily I want you to do it for Kennedy cause I think she looks so much like you and Chad.

I LOVE MY LITTLE GIRL

I am so grateful that I was finally able to have a daughter. Don't get me wrong I love having my boy's. I love how there not afraid to get dirty, They like to try new and dangerous things. They are so full of life and I find rocks, dirt, and bugs in their pockets.(Trey has been carrying a little squishy bunny and wind up chicken in his pocket since Easter)They are alway's keeping me busy and making me see just how great life is, But there is something about a sweet little girl. I love the quiet moments(there rare)when I can sit and talk and sing to Maisey. I love how she just melts her daddy's heart. I love to imagine all the fun girlie stuff we get to do when she's older. I love the fact that I now have a shopping buddy. I love you Maisey!

EASTER WEEKEND

This year for Easter we met my brother Jeremy and his family in St. George. They live in California so we decided it woud be nice to meet eachother halfway and visit for the weekend. We had so much fun! We went shopping, swimming, and alot of eating. For easter the kids had a little egg hunt and we went to the new park. It was so nice to get away. I miss seeing Jeremy, Amanda, and the girls. The boy's loved seeing there cousins. Amanda and I tried to take some Easter pictures of the kids. They didn't cooperate very well. I have no idea why we took a picture in front of electrical boxes but oh well.

Tarrin, Wyatt, Trey, and Maisey

BOWS, BOWS, BOWS

Me and my sister-in-laws made bows in St. George when we went in October. Maisey is finally big enough to wear them. I need to get Tiffany to help me make some more. She's a pro. You should see some of the bow's she's made. They are so cute!!

PLEASE DON'T GIVE ME A SHOT!

I took Wyatt for his kindergarten checkup and Maisey for her two month checkup today. Wyatt is a healthy boy. He passed all his tests (eyes and ears). Maisey is now tipping the scales at a healthy 9 pounds 7 ounces and 23 inches long. She is almost in the 5o% for her weight and 97% for her height. I guess she's following in Wyatt's footsteps, The other kids were alway's under 10% for their weight. they both had to get shot's, which Wyatt was not happy about. He only cried a little and after we went and got him a vannilla shake. Kevin had taken Trey to work with him so I didn't have to worry about chasing around a three year old. Now were all home and lounging around. I'm not feeling very well, I think I have some sort of stomache bug. I really thought I was going to be the one not to catch any of this yucky stuff going around. Oh well.

A GREAT DAY

Today was a really great day. At 3:00 a.m. this morning I was awaken to some great news that my sister had her baby. I won't give any information and in this picture you can't see her very well. You'll have to check Matt and Amanda's blog to hear and see all the exciting news. Early afternoon Kevin and I went to the temple with my parents, my sister and her husband, and three of my brothers to do some family names. It was such a neat experience. After we went to lunch and had a chance to visit and check up. It was so nice to get together and visit( We don't see each other too often) It was my niece Lyndsey's birthday party and I missed it because I went to the temple, but on the way to the hospital I went over and saw her. She is getting so big and smart! Happy Birthday Lyndsey!! Thanks to Emily and Aneesa who helped me with the kids so I was able to go to the temple and see the baby.

SORRY MOMMY HAS NO BRAIN

So today when I was taking Wyatt to preschool I realized I had forgot to feed him lunch. His preschool start's at 12:30 and goes until 3:30. I told him "Oh no Wyatt, I forgot to make you a sandwich or something" This is when I had already picked up his friend Owen and was almost there. He said " That's okay I already had about four granola bars" I felt like such a bad mom. The poor kid had to go to school today on an empty stomach. This whole mother of four thing has thrown me for a loop. I hope all of those brain cells return some day.

BATH FUN

Okay I know that It seems like a have a new post everyday, but this is starting to turn into a journal of sorts. Today after I gave Maisey a bath, Kevin and I were getting her dressed and talking about the day. Meanwhile Wyatt and Trey were in my bathtub (so I could listen for them) When we got done I went to check on the boys and they had dumped almost the whole bottle of baby soap in the tub and had turned the jets on. There were bubbles everywhere! We couldn't even see the floor. Wyatt could barely see. Instead of getting too upset, because I was upset, I went and grabbed the camera. Kevin cleaned up all the bubbles on the floor. Thanks Hun.

FIRST SMILE CAUGHT ON CAMERA

I did it! I was finally able to get Maisey to smile and get a picture. She usually only gives me a couple of smiles a day, so I was lucky enough to get one on camera. She will be a couple of months old next week and I can't wait until I get to see her smile all the time. She is starting to get her own little personality. I forgot how much fun babies can be.

TARRIN'S RANT

I went to Cache Valley on Saturday to visit with my parent's and my sister. Tarrin was getting a little bored so I told him to write his cousin Katelynn a letter. He had just received a letter from her a couple of day's prior. I never ended up looking at it when he was done until last night when I saw it on his windowsill. I thought it was so funny! Kevin pointed out the snowflakes that had been crossed out. I guess he is getting sick of the snow. Amanda have Katelynn read this, You know how I never seem to get around to mailing things.

BLESSING PHOTO'S

Here are the photo's we had taken at Kiddie Kandids. As you can see, I didn't get very many poses. None of the kids wanted to cooperate.

DO THEY REALLY LOOK THAT MUCH ALIKE?

Everyone has been telling me how much Maisey looks like her brothers, So I pulled out some old photo's to see just how much. I think she definitely has similarities but she also has her very own look. The pictures go in order of age if you couldn't tell.

WHAT DOES A DOG, A RED SODA, GLASSES, AND A DIAPER EQUAL?........

ONE HORRIBLE DAY!!!!

So first thing this morning, I woke up to Kevin looking for Tarrins back-up glasses in the drawer in our room. Tarrin was trying to clean them when they broke in half. Then Kevin let's me know that our dog, Who had just got neutered and micro chipped and wasn't feeling well had pooped and thrown up in our laundry room (poor thing has to be in the laundry room or outside) Thank goodness theres no carpet in there. I was already irritated when we hear a funny sound and smell coming from downstairs. Wyatt had spilled red cream soda on the t.v. stand and it had spilled over and dripped all over the cords in the back. I am surprised it hadn't started a electrical fire. I have no idea why he thought it was okay to drink red soda in the family room. Next thing I know Kevin is pulling laundry out of the dryer when he tells me to come look and see what all this white stuff is. I had accidentally thrown some of Trey's pajama pants in the washer and there was a pull-up attached(I still put pull-ups on Trey at night)Needless to say the pull-up had blown up to the size of a basketball and had exploded all over the dryer. This was all within a hour of being awake. I so wanted to crawl back into bed and pull the covers over my head and forget this day even happened. Instead Kevin and I cleaned up the laundry room, absolutely disgusting! The dog gets to spend today outside. Kevin called Moran Eye Center and talked to them about getting new glasses. Luckily our warranty covers the frames. I just got back from Salt Lake where they measured Tarrin's new glasses so they will fit him good. It will be over a week before we get the new ones. Kevin is going to buy a new surge protector for the t.v. So no t.v. until he gets home tonight. Yeah for tivo so I won't miss American Idol. I love the guy who sang the song from Breakfast Club, One of my favorite movies. Kevin likes the cute long blonde hair girl. I think her name is Brooke. I like her too. I took the vacuum hose and sucked up all the gunk in the dryer. I think were going to make it. I hope tomorrow things go a little easier. I forgot to take a picture of the pull-up. Ha,ha

I LOVE IKEA

So yesterday was my first time shopping at Ikea. I tagged along with Emily and Carly. It was so much fun. I bought this $15 kids rug. Trey absolutely loves putting his train tracks, trains, and cars on it.

TREY IS THREE!!

My youngest boy Trey is three today. He is getting so big. Trey is a very special boy. He is the comedian of our family. Trey is very loud and loves attention. When we are out shopping he likes to say hi to everyone he see's. He loves Thomas the Train! He will sit for hours and play with his trains. We got him some Thomas Take Along Trains for his birthday and I haven't seen him since. The other night when I checked on him after he had gone to bed, He had a train wrapped in his little hand. I can't believe that would be very comfortable to sleep with. Trey is full of energy and he likes to do everything himself. He is very independent. He doesn't take any smack from his older brothers. I am usually getting after him for bullying his older brothers. I guess he has to be strong to put up with them. Trey loves Cafe Rio. I credit that to always going there with Emily. Everytime we pass the place, Trey says "Quesadilla Mom?" He also loves candy, most kids do. We are so thankful Trey is in our family. Happy Birthday Trey Brey!!

BLESSING AND BIRTHDAY

Yesterday Kevin blessed our little girl. It was a really neat blessing and experience. I feel so blessesd to have her in our family. It was a really hectic day but very rewarding. I am so proud of our growing family. Now that were going to start taking Maisey to church, I hope the boys get back into the habit of going and can be more reverent. They were so hyper. Trey's birthday is today, We had a little party for him yesterday since all of the family was here. Here are some of the pictures from that day and this morning. Kevin's mom got some better pictures, so I will post those when I get them.

LET DOWN

Kevin and I went and saw this movie last night. I was so dissapointed! It was so different than the book. I found it to be so boring.
