We love Ice Cream!

It's no surprise that my kids love ice cream and when you can pick out what kind of ice cream and what toppings you want, nothing could be better. I took the kids to Farr's fresh after the parade and they were in heaven!

Brigham Pool

Last year we started a tradition of meeting my sister and her family at the Brigham pool on Monday nights. Things have been crazy this year but we have been twice and hope to go the rest of the Mondays until school starts. The kids love being with their cousins and I get to be with my family and my sister Amanda so what more could you ask for!

Ogden Pioneer Parade

 This was the first time that we have been to the Ogden parade and it was really neat to see all of the fun floats and people in the parade. Maisey liked the princesses and we really enjoyed the missionaries. They even did a little dance! Kevin was able to come for about an hour and then he had to leave for work. It was raining off and on a little bit but that didn't seem to stop the kids from having fun.

More baseball

Thanks Colleen for taking this picture of the boys with their coach Darrin. I was so sad that I wasn't able to make it to the game and I know I already posted about baseball but I think it deserves another post with all the fun boys in it. It was such a fun season and so neat that all these boys are in the ward together. I loved seeing everyone at the games and Trey just loved playing with all of his friends! Thanks Darrin and Carly for being such great coaches!

My Big Helper

My last Newborn shoot this week, Maisey stayed and helped me out. She helped me out by playing with this cute little girl and making her happy while I took some pictures of her cute little brother. Lately I have busy with pictures and she doesn't like to get left with her brothers or babysitters and always wants to come with. I have tried to schedule when Kevin is around but sometimes that just doesn't work out so she is definitely happy when she can help me out. This cute little girl wanted Maisey to be in the picture with her. She was such a sweetie and I haven't seen her mom since high school so it was nice to see her again and visit.

Lagoon Passes

We got Lagoon passes this year and we have loved them! We have been going a lot and have definitely gotten are money's worth. Lately on Kevin's day off we have been going to Lagoon A Beach and staying cool in the water. We went last week on the hottest day of the year and stayed cool. It has been fun spending time as a family and the kids have a blast!

swimming lessons

Another year of swim lessons as come and gone and the kids had a lot of fun! They learned a lot and it was great to have them again with my neighbors and Carly and the boys. It was a special treat to get to play with little Preston, who by the way is the cutest little boy ever! They all had really good teachers. Tarrin and Tori were the only ones in level 5 so it was good that they had a lot of one on one time. Wyatt loved his class and was with his friend Dallin so that was fun for him.

Maisey did great and had a lot of fun. She loves the water and really liked her teachers. She especially liked free time and going down the slide all by herself.

Tarrin enjoyed it just being him and Tori.

Yesterday it was a little cold and Maisey and Trey only lasted about half of the lessons. Here they are all wrapped up in their towels trying to get warm.

We can't forget little Preston with his happy smiling face. He is so cute!

4th of July fun

                                       

 This year had to be one of my favorites! 4th of July fell on a Wednesday which is Kevin's day off so he was able to come with us to the Hyrum parade and do all of the fun stuff in the day instead of only the fireworks at night. First thing we did was go and see Mandy finish the Freedom fun in the morning. She did great and it was fun to watch the runners. After that we went and got some breakfast and took some to my parents, then we headed over to the parade. We always park at Mandy's and walk up to a spot where Mandy has saved for us. It's always in the shade! Thanks Mandy. This year uncle Matt took the little girls up on the 4 wheeler. The kids had so much fun and got lots of candy. We got to see our cute nieces in the parade too! After the parade we went and had some lunch and headed to Hyrum Dam to do some wake boarding and have the kids ride on the tube. It was a blast! The kids had so much fun and Tarrin said it was his funnest day of Summer so far! After the lake we went and grabbed some diner and headed down to the Farr West fireworks. I absolutely love the Farr West fireworks. They do such an amazing job and its great that we are only five minutes from home. It was a really fun day with family and friends!

Yeah for the 4th of July!

No more training wheels

No more training wheels! Maisey decided to go for it and ride her bike without them. We noticed she really wasn't using them anyway so we took them off and off she went down the road. She didn't need help turning or anything! She reminds us of Trey in that way. There was no running with her at all, she just made up her mind and that was it. Now we can hardly get her off of her bike. That's all she wants to do. Good job Maisey!

Mothers Day

 I realize that my posts are so messed up lately but I want to make sure that I don't miss anything. This Mothers day Maisey made me some cute things at preschool. I always have a good laugh at the answers they give to questions about their moms like Maisey thinks I weigh 20 pounds and I'm 9 ft tall! The boys gave me some coupons to clean their rooms and for some hugs. I love Mothers Day and am so thankful for my mother. I am so grateful that I'm a mom to four wonderful kids!

Neighborhood Fun

Last night we had a BBQ at our house with the neighbors and some friends. It was a great time with some great food! Kevin made smoked pulled pork and everyone brought potluck. I am still smilling about Shanna's coconut rolls. They are to die for. Cristine painted all of the kids faces and I forgot to take a picture of all of them but luckily I got a few. The little girls played great together and had lots of fun. We love all of our neighbors so much and its great to get together and visit!
