What we do after swimming lessons
For the past eight years we have been taking swimming lessons at the Brigham City pool. This year it was no shock that Trey wanted to bring his rod and go fishing after. Well today he got his way and we stuck around while the boys fished and Wyatt caught a frog that he has had his eye on since yesterday. Trey's favorite show..... Wicked Tuna! Wow who knew this kid would love fishing so much!
How to Train a Dragon 2
We took all the kiddos to How to Train a Dragon 2. First we went and had lunch across the street at costa Vida and then to the movie. It's sometimes chaos with all the kids but we had a good time and the movie was really good. I think I like it better than the first!
Pete and Janette get married
My brother Pete got married on June 21st. It was a really nice wedding down at Gardner Village. We all couldn't be more thrilled to have Janette in our family. She makes my brother so happy and I have just loved getting to know her and her super cute family!
Pineview 2014
My brother and family came and visited this last week for my brother Pete's wedding. We went to Pineview the day before with five of my siblings. We had a great time! I haven't been to Pineview in a few years and I don't know why I haven't! It's beautiful and the kids had so much fun! I just love it when we all get together. I feel very fortunate to have such a great bond with my family!

Scout Camp
Tarrin is all ready to get up bright and early and head to Scout Camp for a week. He is going to camp Hunt. His pack I think weighs more than he does! Have fun T!
Well Scout camp was a little rough this year. I am so glad Kevin went up for a couple of days. Tarrin woke up to his sleeping bag soaking wet and had to change clothes. Luckily Kevin's sleeping bag was dry and fit the both of them so he could get warm. They went the next day to a laundry mat and got all their wet stuff dry and went and got a shake at La Beau's. I don't know why you would want a shake when they were so cold! With all things considering they seemed to push through and have a good time. So grateful for my ward and all the boys!

Mountain View Pediatrics Carnival
I know I have said this before but Dr. Cam and his staff are the best! I have never known a dentist or anyone who gives back so much to his community. Dr.Cam holds a kids carnival every year for all the kids that go to his office. He also sponsors a kids every year and holds a silent auction and all the money raised goes to that child. This year he sponsored a boy who woke up one day and was paralyzed. He has some rare disease and needed a new wheel chair. They were able to raise enough money and then some. This year besides free pizza, soda, snow cones, popcorn, pony rides, obstacle course and all their fun games they had a photo booth. The kids thought it was pretty fun. We couldn't find Trey so he isn't in them. He ran off and hung out on the obstacle course for way too long! Oh and we can't forget the awesome face painting! What cool face painting! Three hours later momma was tired and so it was time to go home. Can't wait until next year! Thanks again Cam!!

More Fishing!
Trey caught his biggest fish so far. 3 lbs. 10 oz. Kevin's buddy Marcus went along today with him and Trey. They said it was a little slow moving but they sure caught some bigger ones today. Now Kevin is filleting them up to eat later. They sure love their fishing!!
Fishing with Friends
Kevin took out fishing Trey's friends Braden, Caden and Caden's older brother Tanner. They had a lot of fun and were catching fish left and right. Caden and Tanner's dad died a few years ago and our friend Holly was happy they got to go fishing. Kevin loves to take kids and let them experience fishing.
Mac and Mickey
We were able to take a quick drive down to Kanab Utah to visit our friends Mac and Mickey. They used to live a couple of blocks away from us and Kevin and Mac got really close because of Mac's love of cars. Really fast cars!! We heard about a month ago that Mac had a brain tumor and was only given about four more months to live. We are so grateful that we could go see him. They have such a beautiful home surrounded by the red rocks. They would not let us stay in a hotel so we crashed with them for the night. Mac is so open about his death and they have taken care of everything. When we first arrived Mac told us about what was happening to him and talked a lot about the gospel. He has such a strong testimony and he shared that with us. I helped Mickey in the kitchen with lunch and we sat down to more stories and lots of laughs from Mac. Wow! He has a very good memory. I loved the story of how they first met and what he first said to her. They had some friends stop by to see Mac so we wanted to give them some time so we went sight seeing for a bit and saw the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. Mac says it is such a scam! I can't believe how much money they put in to that thing. I love animals too but really those animals are treated better than humans. I was thinking if they spent that money in an orphanage or something, they could really change lives. I can't get over the pet cemetery... he, he. I have seen it all! After a bit we headed back and Mickey's friend Jeanne was there. They are high school friends and I absolutely love her! While Kevin visited with Mac, us ladies went into the kitchen and made some beef enchiladas! yummy! The best part was the teasing from Mickey and hanging out and sharing stories with the ladies. Afterwards we visited until late and then said our goodbyes since we had to leave really early to get back so Kevin could get to work at noon. I am so grateful to have known such a wonderful person. Mac and Mickey are the salt of the earth, great people! Mac told us to read the book Believing Christ and gave us a copy. I just finished it the other day. I think it was the first time I really understood the Gospel. I know I can do my absolute best but it will not be good enough, I need the Savior to help me with the rest. It talks about the parable of the bicycle and other parables that help you understand the Gospel so much more. As we were talking with Mac, I would watch all the humming birds coming to get a drink from the bird feeder. I will always hold that memory near and dear to my heart. Listening to such a wonderful man while watching these beautiful birds. I am so thankful for such great friends! Love you guys!
