FAMILY PICTURES

This last weekend I took pictures of five different families and had my sister take some of my family with my camera. I love taking pictures but hate someone taking my picture. I don't know why out of twenty different pictures we still could not get one of everyone looking at the camera. Thank goodness for photoshop. I am hoping my sister-in-law can do her magic and and photoshop the group shot so we all are smiling and actually looking at the camera! I have photoshop but I have a lot to learn. Wyatt was a little stinker even though it's Trey who wasn't looking. Every picture except for one group picture Wyatt was making silly faces, not looking or crying. He used to be our photogenic child but now he doesn't want to have anything to do with it. Overall I can't complain, We survived!

TREY'S PRAYERS AND FUNNY THINGS HE SAY'S

Trey has been making us laugh with his prayers the last couple of weeks. We have been trying to teach the kids to not have repetitive prayers. It seems like the same thing is always being said. They are getting better but I think us always telling Tarrin and Wyatt to say different things they are thankful for has rubbed off on Trey. Now his prayers consist of everything he has done that day. Here is what he said last night.:
He Father, My mom here, My dad here, Tarrin here, Wyatt here. I go to school, I have my sippy cup, Chocolate milk, Grandma stay here, Amen.
I wish I could remember the other ones. I don't know what is more special than hearing a child pray. Last week for FHE we decided to take the kids on the Frontrunner. We have been talking about it for awhile and thought we better do it soon. If you know Trey, He has such a passion for trains. When we were headed towards Salt Lake for dinner. Trey said "Who made this train?" Before we could answer he said "Kids did, Kids made this train!" We thought that was so funny. Of course a three year old would think kids would make something as fun as a train.
Trey's new thing is when we tell him he's a big boy or I call him runt, runt. He says's in a loud voice "I'm not a big boy I'm just a kid!" He cracks us up!

SHE'S CRAWLING

My baby is crawling! It's not the worm crawl anymore. It's the regular baby crawl. Where does all the time go? Before I know it she will be turning one.

ROUTINE?

School has started and I am still not in a routine. I was hoping to be on the ball with getting kids off to school, running errands, cleaning house and getting a lot more photography in then what is actually happening. I don't know how some women do it. I see the mom dropping her kid off to preschool who I think has never had a bad look day in her life and I ask myself "What is my problem" If I'm dressed by ten o'clock I am having a good day. Two kids with homework is a lot more work than one. I have no idea what I am going to when all four kids are in Elementary School. Tomorrow I have to remember to send Wyatt to school with his homework, Treats for rainbow day, He needs to dressed like a pirate for Pirate day. Tarrin needs to remember his homework packet, Show and Tell (Draw a picture of his Family)and hand in his seed paper(find about twenty different seeds around and tape them to his paper). Trey has preschool tomorrow and he has show and tell which is easy since he just wants to take a toy plane. I know everyone who has kids in school has to do all this and much more. I guess I just needed to vent a little and wonder where I am going to find all the time. I guess I'm not really worried about time I'm just not good with remembering to do things. I can't wait until things slow down just a little. Thank goodness Kevin is here in the morning and helps me out with breakfast and sending kids off to school. Hey, If my kids have clean clothes, breakfast and their hair at least combed, I'm doing alright. Right?

EIGHT MONTHS OLD

Maisey is eight months old today. In the last month she has learned to sit up and she is starting to crawl. She does the worm crawl right now. She now can get to where ever she wants to go. She says's ma, ma and loves to use her voice. She is mostly sleeping through the night with sometimes waking up and going right back after I give her, her pacifier. She has learned to clap and thinks she's hot stuff when she claps. She is still pulling her Grandma face. She loves attention, especially from her brothers. She's not a real snugly baby. When she's tired she wants you to just put her in bed and leave her alone. She is a pretty content baby right now. I even took her to the dentist with me today and she just sat in her car seat and watched without being fussy. We are so thankful for our little girl. She brings such joy to our family.

THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH

Yeah! We are official booked to go to Disneyland in October. We have talked about going this year and I'm so excited to go. Our kids are at such fun ages for Disneyland. The boy's will get one more time in before we have to start visiting all the princess stuff. We are going to stop first at my brothers house and visit and then off to see the Sequoia's and beach and finally Disneyland for three days. Tarrin is so excited to celebrate his birthday in California. He is always talking about how he is going to live there when he gets older because there is no snow. The kids are excited to see their cousins. I am excited to go to Disneyland again. It's been almost three years since we were last there. We are driving this time. But we thought with four kids it would be much easier than trying to get on and off flights and dealing with airports, car rentals and shuttles.

ERIK AND TAMI'S WEDDING

We just got back from Tami and Erik's wedding yesterday. We had a blast! We arrived Friday night around six. Tami met us at the airport with our rental car. (She had our room and rental car ready for us, I can't believe with planning a wedding she made the time to have everything ready for us). We didn't expect such nice accommodations. After we checked in we headed to Tami and Erik's house for a barbecue. It was so nice seeing Tam's family who I haven't seen for a while. I got to hug and visit with my second mom(Tami's mom). I just love her family. I was at her house more than my own when I was a teenager. It was also very nice to meet Erik's family. The are all so nice. Later that night we went back to our room because Maisey was getting a little tired(My mom came and stayed at our house and watched the boy's for us)By that time Kevin decided he was hungry again so we went and had all you can eat sushi at the Atlantis. It was so good. I can see why Tami and Erik like it so much. That night Maisey stayed up crying all night. On Thursday she got her six month shots and she must have been reacting to them. She had a low grade fever and was so fussy. I was so worried I was going to have bloodshot eyes in the morning and look like I had been run over by a truck. The next morning was the big day! We headed up to the reception place. It was in the mountains by Lake Tahoe and was so pretty. We helped get the place ready, putting red roses everywhere(I mean everywhere, It looked so pretty)Then Kevin took Maisey, and the bridesmaids and I started getting ready for the wedding. We each walked out with our assigned grooms men and then came the most beautiful girl in the world. Tami walked down the aisle with her father and stepfather. She was beaming! I snatched a look at Erik with his tear filled eyes and I almost lost it. I had to compose myself because with the sun beating down on my face and a hundred people watching now wasn't the time to look like a bawling wreck. The ceremony was short and sweet and then it was time for pictures. The photographer was such a nice person. Before the wedding, during, and after we talked about photography and compared photo's we had taken. Kevin did a lot of the picture taking at the wedding( I was a little busy since I was a bridesmaid)He got some really good shots. I'm glad he's my teacher. Erik's mother had cooked for the wedding. I have heard nonstop about how good it was from Kevin. Wow! talk about some fabulous authentic Mexican food. It was absolutely delicious! After that was their first dance as husband and wife a toast, dancing, bouquet throwing, garter throwing, laughing, music and Lot's of fun. Some of the traditions were a little different then I'm used to but I thought they were so much fun.

At one point Erik came out dressed like a housewife holding a baby and sweeping the floor while Tami walked after him whipping him with a belt. It was so funny. It's a Mexican tradition. And there was the money dance where you pin money to the bride and groom and you get to dance with them. When they did the bouquet and garter throwing the guys and girls would hold hands and run around the room dancing to music until it was time to catch it.

Everyone was having such a good time. We ended up leaving around a little after that. Maisey had, had a little too much of all the excitement for one day. It was so much fun and I was glad to be apart of it. It was nice having Lea with us. We got a lot of chatting in on the plane ride home. I talked to Tami today and she was about to board the plane with Erik for their honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas. She sounded so happy. I wish the best for them and Thank them for such a wonderful time. Love you guys!
Here are some random questions and thoughts I had on the wedding day
1. What are they saying? A lot of things said were in Spanish.
2. When can I breathe again? My dress was so tight on my rib cage.
3. Did I look that good on my wedding day? Tami looked so beautiful.
4. A money dance? Now that's a great idea.
5. I have never met a nicer photographer. (Most photographer's are not too happy to see another photographer snapping pictures at the same wedding. The one at my nephew's wedding wasn't too happy with me.)
6. I will never have this food again. (Great authentic Mexican food)
7. How nice is this. (Everyone was laid back and enjoying each other's company)
8. I love this. (Seeing the cultural differences)
9. Have I ever in my life heard this many Mexican songs.
10. My husband is such a sweetie to take care of Maisey all day.

MAISEY'S FIRST COOKIE

This is just Maisey eating her first cookie so I had to get a video of it for Kevin to see. She rather enjoyed it and made a really big mess! I will have to give her one of these on our long car ride to Disneyland. Sucks to clean up but if it makes her happy then I'm all for it. Thanks for the good tip Amanda.

MAISEY'S GRANDMA FACE

Maisey has been making this facial expression for a few weeks now and we think it's pretty funny. She has no teeth so when she does this she looks like a grandma with no teeth. We call it her grandma face. I think she looks like my grandma Fiagle when she makes this face. I took Maisey to the doctor today for her six month checkup. She is actually almost eight months but with her being sick and stuff going on( I really have no excuse other than my life is chaotic)I just got her in today. She is 25% for weight and 75% for heighth and head. I hate when they have to get shots, As I'm sure every mother hates that. She is getting so big. She is sitting up and scoots everywhere. She is starting to get up on her hands and knee's. I think she will be crawling this month. I guess now is the time to get out the baby gates.

KINDERGARTEN AND PRESCHOOL FIRSTS

It was Wyatt's first day of Kindergarten and Trey's first day of preschool on Tuesday. Wyatt left on the bus with Tarrin in the morning and me and my friend Anissa whose daughter is also in Wyatt's class followed the bus over and made sure they got to class okay. Wyatt was very excited to have his friend Tori in his class. After I snapped a few pictures it was time to get home and get Trey to his first day of preschool. Trey has been so excited for school to start. He was all smiles as Kevin and I drove him to school. He only got a little nervous when we first walked in the door. Overall a success. They both love their teachers and are excited for what the year will bring.
