FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

It was the first day of school for Tarrin. The mom's in the neighborhood get together and do doughnuts, chocolate milk and juice for the kids at the bus stop. I followed the bus to Tarrin's school and got a couple of pictures of him in his class. He said today was alright but a little boring(going over all of the rules)Tarrin usually loves school so I'm sure by the end of the week, He will be loving it. I hope.

MUSTANGS CLASS OF 1998

Yesterday it was my ten year high school reunion. It was so much fun to see everyone. I loved seeing every one's cute little kids at the family picnic and being able to visit at the dinner that night at Hamilton's. I swear nobody has changed much. My friend Heidi Wayment still looks exactly the same. Kevin was so nice to come with me. Lot's of the husbands made excuses to get out of it but Kevin was a good sport and came with me. (Yes, Dan your in trouble with us)Wow, Talk about memories coming back. I really enjoyed High School. Here is some pic's of that day.

Me and my friend Kandice and her way cute little girl Evie. She is the cutest thing in the world. Must get it from her momma.

Monique, me, Amylin, and Jessica. They haven't changed a bit. Seeing Monique brought back memories of going to St.George and sleeping over at her house. I think it was the funnest sleepover I have ever been to.

Katie Fryer, Amy and Me. I have to say our table was the funnest.(ha,ha) Katie is such a genuine nice person and I loved being able to actually sit and talk with Amy. It's funny how after all these years, you just pick up where you left off.

Laura and Jenny. Laura is pregnant with her second but you would never know. She is still so tiny.

Me, Amy, and Heidi. Heidi hasn't changed a bit. I was so excited to see her. I've known her since kindergarten.

And of course the Honers. Mellisa and Melinda Hone and Melinda's husband. Melinda is also pregnant with her third but you would never know it. I love these guy's! They are so much fun to be around.

Overall it was a great time, although I would have liked to talk to more of my classmates but oh well maybe next time!

MAISEY'S SICK

We are going on a week now of Maisey being sick. She has had diarrhea and has been throwing up. I swear she has lost three pounds. She is so weak she can barely hold her head up. I don't ever remember having a baby this young be this sick. I took her to the doctor on Friday and he said there's not much they can do just keep her hydrated. Yesterday at my High school reunion she seemed to be doing a lot better but then that night she threw up again while Kevin's mom was watching her. Today I felt that we needed to do something different so Kevin called his good friend Hans to come over and they gave her a blessing. I am so thankful for the priesthood and that Kevin is such a good daddy. This whole week he has been so tender with our little girl and he has been so worried about her. He has been holding her nonstop. We are looking forward to seeing her smiling face and happy little personality again. I hope we don't have to wait too long.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM

Today is my mom's birthday and I am so thankful for such a great mom. I am not able to see her today since Maisey has been sick for three days now and I need to stay home with her. My mom is always there for me. I am grateful for her brutally honest advice and all of her help and support. She always knows what to say to me when I'm feeling down or need some motherly advice. I won't forget her watching the kids when I've had my babies or taking care of me when I had my kidney stones at six months pregnant or cleaning my house and doing laundry when I've been too sick to move. I love you mom, Happy sixty fifth birthday! (Sorry the age just slipped out)

MAISEY IS SEVEN MONTHS OLD

I have yet to take her to her six month checkup but I'm planning on making the appointment on Monday. With all the controversy with vaccines I don't mind being just a little behind in getting them done. Maisey is still not sitting up(She can sit propped up) which surprises me a little since all my other kids were sitting up and starting to crawl in their seventh month. She is almost there though. I give her another week and she'll probably be sitting up. I know she will be so much happier even though she loves to scoot around everywhere. She is starting to say ma,ma,ma which I absolutely love to hear. She loves her brothers and she especially loves to watch Trey do all his funny faces. She thinks he is the funniest person in the world. She is our sweet little Maisey girl and we love her so much!

JOSH AND BRINLEY

I can't believe my oldest nephew got married today. It was such a wonderful wedding. I think I will remember what the officiator said for a very long time. They were married in the Salt Lake temple this morning and there was a brunch afterwards at the Lion House. I can't believe how young they both look. I think you forget how much time has gone by until you see a couple of young ones. It was really fun snapping a few pictures after they came out of the temple. There is more on my photography blog. Here is a couple of my brothers and sister-in-law at the luncheon.
There was a South African children's singing group at the Lion house and when they saw Brinley in her dress they wanted to sing her a song. They sang I am a child of god to her. It was so sweet. Unfortunately I didn't get Brinley in the shot. It was such a beautiful day and I am so excited for Josh and his new bride!

FHE- HORSEBACK RIDING

When Kevin got home from work on Monday he told me he had made an appointment to take the kids horseback riding later that night. The kids had so much fun! I think Wyatt had the most fun. He was asking all sorts of questions and what all the animals names were. Wyatt wanted to ride the longest and didn't want to get off. He was asking me if he could ride the horses again as we were driving home. He wants to take lessons. We had a really good time as a family.

MAISEY'S FIRST PONYTAIL

Well, if you can even call it that. I was finally able to get a little ponytail in her hair today. I thought it was so funny. Usually I have her in a headband but maybe it's not to far off that she will be able to put the headbands away :)

ISLAND PARK

We went to our cabin this weekend. We left on Thursday and had the place to ourselves until Kevin's family came Friday night. Kevin's family wanted to go to Jackson and see Yellowstone so we didn't see very much of them. But the time that they were there we had fun. Kevin's cousin Heidi and her husband Chris came up. I was so happy to see them. They are so nice and fun to be around.

We had a bull moose right down from our cabin. He was not as big as the one from last year but still very impressive. We also saw a coyote in in Yellowstone, a first for us. While we were out for a ride on the ranger we saw a herd of antelope. They did not see us coming so when we got closer they all took off running and it was striking to see how fast they can run.

On Saturday we headed up to Fire Hole in Yellowstone and took the kids swimming. It was really neat being able to float down with the current. It was surprising that the water was not very cold. After you jumped in it was quite nice.
We also stopped at a rendezvous that was set up in West Yellowstone. Wyatt chose a coon skin hat and Trey picked out a pop gun. All the boys wanted wooden snakes. Maisey got a cute little bonnet. It was a nice, relaxing weekend.

When we were heading out, we stopped at at the Hungry bear to fill up and as we were leaving a motorcycle swerved off the road right in front of us. It was really scary to watch. Both Kevin and I yelled to the kids to not look out their windows. We were so worried that a oncoming car was going to hit them. Fortunately the couple is going to be okay. I think the women probably just had a few bruises and scraps. Her husband kept wanting to get up but everyone kept telling him to stay still in case of a back injury. They are so lucky to be alive. It put an extra hour into our trip but I am so thankful that it turned out okay. Kevin was such a good help. We watched it happen and not even a second later he was out the door ready to help. It gave you that nice happy feeling inside to see about ten people pull over and give the couple some help within the first ten seconds after it happened. I was so impressed at the love people had for total strangers.

I didn't get too many photo's cause I was busy playing with my new camera Kevin got for me. I am so excited! Check out the photography blog in a couple of day's. I have some new photo's that I took of Chad and Emily's cute little girl Kennedy and one of Maisey in her new bonnet.

BREAKING DAWN

I finished the book this afternoon and it's a good thing since nothing got done today. I loved it! I liked it just as much as the other three. I have heard some people giving Stephanie Meyer some slack because they say it is too sexual. Give me a break. If you don't want to read it then don't read it and if you don't want your kids reading it then don't let them. I personally didn't find anything in it that was offensive. I liked the ending and thought it was nicely done. Good Job Stephanie and thanks for the good read!
