McKayla and Rachel's Dance Class

Maisey has had a blast this summer with her summer dance class. Raechel in my ward put together a summer dance class for some girls in our neighborhood. Raechel and her friend McKayla are only twelve and I was so proud of what they put together. Maisey had a class once a week for eight weeks and they had a water party for the girls also. Maisey loved playing with the girls from the ward. Raechel and McKayla made their cute little costumes for the recital which was last night. Maisey was tired from going to the splash pad earlier in the day and acted a little cranky so I was worried if she would even do her dance. She did it for the most part and it was so cute! Thanks Raechel and McKayla!

Water Balloon Fun!!

Wyatt, Trey, and Maisey had fun playing with the water balloons. Their friends Cole and Caden came over and they had a lot of fun chasing each other and popping them in their hands. Trey tried as hard as he could and finally he popped this balloon.




Maisey just kept popping them in her hands. She thought it was so funny!

Camp Kiesel

Tarrin and Wyatt both got to go to camp Kiesel with the scouts. Tarrin went on Wednesday and Wyatt went on Thursday. They both had a blast! They have so much fun. Both bought a pocket knife and some treats at the trading post. They love scouts!

Summer

Yeah my lilies are in full swing and there are some little apples on our tree. It was planted last year so I was surprised to see anything on it at all. I am not loving this hot weather but love how everything is growing! Can't wait for the corn on the cob and some peaches from Pettingals!

Paysons Birthday Party

My sister knows how to throw one awesome Birthday party! This year for my nephew Paysons Birthday party she got a bounce house and one huge slide with an obstacle course. It was a blast! My brothers Chris and Peter and me and Amanda had races and would make up these ridiculous things that we had to do in order to win the race. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time! We would barely make it up the slide because we were laughing so hard and had no energy left in us. If you have ever seen the show Wipeout that was basically what it was. It was so much fun. Thanks Amanda for having us over!

Island Park Part 2

The later part of the week my sisters Amanda and Stephanie and brother Chris came up to the cabin. We had a blast! We had lunch in Yellowstone at Madison campground and the kids swam in the river. We played cards into the night, went on a ton of ranger rides with the kids. Found a great place where the kids caught frogs. They had so much fun catching frogs and it was a struggle to get them to put them back. We saw moose, elk, buffalo and Kevin and the kids saw a black bear. I was glad they were on the ranger when they did. We hung out in West and had ice cream and had the best hamburger at Island Park Lodge in Island Park. It was so much fun and I love spending time with my family!

Island Park, Part 1

Last week we and spent eight days in Island Park at the cabin. It was so relaxing and a blast! We got there late Saturday night and on Sunday Kevin's parents and his brother Robert and family joined us. Before the got there we spent a little time in West at the Grizzly/Wolf discovery center. My kids love this place!









On Monday we went to Yellowstone. Rob and Tara haven't been there since they were kids. It was a lot of fun! I love this picture because Maisey was getting a ride on uncle Robs shoulders but had to close her nose because of the sulfur from the hot spots.





While we were walking around McKayla and Tarrin were holding hands. They got along so good and so did the other kids. I was sad to see them go. Trey found a frog on one of their ranger rides. We all laughed when we heard him say "Hey does anyone want to come and see me give my frog a bath" They kids found a robin egg on the ground and Nicole, McKayla and Wyatt had fun making a nest for it and giving it a home. Kevins dad taught Tarrin to ride the motorcycle and he had so much fun riding around on it. Rob was funny to watch on the little motorcycle and Kevin gave Maisey a few rides on it. Sorry Kevin was sporting his athletic clothes we actually got a couple of runs in while we there. It was beautiful running with such beautiful scenery.We had a blast visiting, having meals outside on the deck and enjoying each others company. I was so glad that Rob and Tara could come!








The first part of the week was so fun and I was excited for the last part also. So onto part 2

4th of July FUN!

The 4th of July was a blast! My sister Amanda invited us up to the Hyrum parade and saved us a really sweet spot. I was so grateful that it was overcast and we didn't have to sit with the sun beating down on us. Maisey loves being with her cousin Charly! They are such good little friends.



They kids got loads of candy and had so much fun watching the parade.



My nephew Ryan was in the parade with his karate class. The kids thought it was so cool that he was in the parade. He looked like he was having a lot of fun. Great job Ryan!



I had to get a picture of my nephew Payson with his I love Hyrum pin on his shirt. It was too funny!



My sister and I had fun watching the parade and watching the kids have such a good time. I don't know what I would do without my sister, she is the best!


Later we went and had some pizza/pasta with my sister and my parents. Kevin was working until five and so I came back to Farr West after five and we went and got some dinner and headed to the Farr west fireworks. We had fun visiting with friends and neighbors there and watching the fireworks. I am always so impressed with the Farr West fireworks. They put on such a good show!

This video is about seven minutes long. I missed the first five minutes. Wyatt liked taking pictures with his DS. Maisey did not enjoy the fireworks again this year. She just hid under a blanket until it was over. She is so silly, I wonder if she will ever enjoy them. I think it is the noise that really bothers her. Sorry the video is giving me issues, hopefully I can have it on soon.

Our New Baby

Kevin has been watching KSL looking for a Chinese Crested Powder Puff dog for awhile and when my brother came and he got to see Chewy(our old dog) there was no way I was going to be able to talk him out of a dog. We tried talking my brother into getting Chewy back but we were kidding there was no way we would take that dog away from those girls that love him so much and they wouldn't have let us anyway. He found this cute little girl and the lady drove her up from Midvale. He instantly fell in love. Maisey is a little older now and has been pretty gentle with the new puppy. Her name is pepper and she has fits in really good with our family. She is only five weeks old and we only get to be about five pounds. I love this breed for they do not shed and they do not smell which works great for me. She has been great going to the bathroom on her potty pads and sleeps great at night. The kids absolutely adore her!

Slip n Slide

While my brother was here they bought a slip n slide for the kids to play on during our barbecue and I was too busy to go an get some pictures. Here is Trey and his friend Hanna playing on it today. This summer has been crazy and we have already done a lot of fun things with the kids. Yeah for SUMMER!
