Yard In Bloom

My yard is a pain in the butt to up keep but I am happy to see all the flowers, trees, and bushes get their buds and look so pretty. Here is some of the things growing right now. I love Lilies so I have planted quite a few but most haven't bloomed just yet...

Summertime 2013

Well Summer has officially begun! We went to the Brigham pool yesterday. We love to go as a family on Monday night. It was plenty warm and after we stopped and had some yummy shakes at Sonic.  Maisey and Trey had to get a watermelon today. Their favorite! They have also been drawing pictures for their cousins in California. I am horrible about sending them but am going to get on it.

Easter 2013

Its a good thing that I am a much better blogger in the summer or I wouldn't have anything at the end of the year. I just go my 2012 book in the mail so I guess I am not too far behind. Easter came really quick this year. After Kevin and I got back from vacationing in Mexico we were a little tired to say the least. Easter was just a few days after and since most of Kevin's family was out of town we decided to stay home and relax. I took the kids to the Farr West Egg hunt on Saturday, Where the got lots of candy and toys and then on Sunday we had a small egg hunt and my brother Chris came over and had a yummy ham dinner and we dyed Easter eggs and went on a walk over by Willard Bay. The kids favorite Easter toys were the chicken that laid eggs and the pig who pooped out candy( go figure!) They also really liked there webkinz stuffed animals. We attempted a family picture but of course Maisey looks all upset  due to one of her brothers saying something to her that she didn't like. Oh well we tried.....

Seattle Girls Trip 2013

Where do I start. This year Tami, Amy, Lea and I went to Seattle for our annual girls trip. I had so much fun!! Between the wonderful seafood (Jacks my favorite and a new favorite Ivars) and being with  my most favorite people in the world I had a blast! We went to Pikes Place market which I love, shopped until we dropped (Amy got us the most awesome hotel room that was located right by everything!) gained ten pounds on eating the most wonderful food ever, Went to the Space Needle and Music Museum where we played in a band and screamed in a scream booth (first for me) and laughed until I almost peed my pants. I didn't take my camera so I am dependent on my lovely friends to send me pictures. Tami has some more so I will update when I get them. I am still dreaming of Ivars clam chowder and fried scallops from Jacks. I am so grateful that we are able to get together every year and have a great time! Love you girls!!

Memorial weekend

We went up to the cabin on Memorial weekend. It was a great weekend. My parents, Peter and Halle, Shawn and of course Matt and Amanda and family came (Part owners). Trey loves to go fishing and got up early to go with Kevin and Matt. He caught himself a pretty good sized trout on opening day of at Henrys Lake. The fish had another smaller fish in its mouth and Trey thought that was great. On the last day we were there Kevin wasn't planning on fishing but bright and early Trey came into our room and woke Kevin up " Dad lets go fishing" So off they went.  It was so pretty up there like it always is and we got the cabin all cleaned and ready to be rented out this Summer.  We already have most of July  rented out and part of June. We were visited by more than one dog while we there. We had Pepper with us and she didn't really like other dogs coming around but this sweet chocolate lab showed up and Wyatt fell in love. I found them outside taking a rest on the deck. We even got visited by Buster, Emily's dog who was with her parents. Pepper loves it in Island Park and stays by us without being on a leash!

The boys love it at the cabin. The one place they get to be loud, get dirty, explore, and eat snacks and smores all day!

One of my favorite things to do is sit out on the deck and have breakfast in the morning. It was great having my mom and dad with us.

Maisey and Charly are best friends. The even do the "Best Friends Forever" Chant where they end it with a high five. Over the weekend they changed it to " Best friends forever! and we never fight!" they are so silly. They get along so good.

The boys love riding the 4-wheeler! Tarrin is getting a little big for this one.

My parents learned how to work an iPad. What a shock! 4 pictures 1 word was the game of the night. They were really good at it. I love how my dad is concentrating so hard and my mom is so excited! Love these two:)

St George Weekend

I went on my annual St. George weekend with my sisters, mom, and my SIl's. It was a fun time. We shopped, watched Iron Man 3, ate yummy food and went and saw some of the Iron Man race. It was amazing to see all the athletes. We did a little hiking and just had a great time!

Maisey's Graduation

Maisey graduated from Preschool! I can't believe she is going into kindergarten. We have loved A Childs Image preschool. All of my kids have gone to the same preschool with Jodie Bybee and her twin sister Jaime. I remember meeting Jodie at a scrapbook party when I was pregnant with Wyatt. It seems so long ago but I'm so glad that I met her that day and all of my kids have gone to her. Maisey practiced and practiced her part and had it memorized but when it was time to give it she was too nervous and Teacher Jaime had to help her. We have such fun times and memories!
