THE CABIN-CATCHING FISH, POST #2

The first two mornings that we were there, I would wake up to my husband not there. Where was he? You might ask. Well he was up and out the door by 5:30 a.m every morning to get on the boat and go fishing. My brother-in-law Matt and my nephew Tyson were right by his side. We were all really excited to see them come home with so many cut throat and Lake trout. Kevin was pretty excited about his almost five pounder Lake Trout. Kevin was in heaven and enjoyed spending time with Matt and Tyson.

THE CABIN- FROG CATCHING POST#1

This past week we have been at our cabin in Island Park. I took way too many pictures as usual. Kevin always tells me that when I look back at all the pictures, I will never be disappointed because I took too many. We had a lot of fun. My whole family except for my brother-in-law Stuart and their three boys were there. It ended up being 38 of us all together. I am going to do a few different posts since I have so much to tell. This post will be about frog catching. On Tuesday Kev and I went to take the kids fishing at the kids fish pond. When we got there another little boy was fishing and not having much luck but then he was telling the boys how there is frogs in the water. Well that was it. It now was not going to be a fishing day but a day for catching frogs. Kev caught four frogs Tarrin caught one that day and I caught one as well. They are very fast and can blend into the scenery very well. Well that wasn't enough so we also had to go the following day. This time Tarrin caught four frogs. I don't think I have ever seen my boys have so much fun!

A GOOD BABYSITTER?

I was talking on the phone to my sister-in-law Tiff and trying to get the house cleaned up when I thought I better go check on the kids downstairs. I have been watching Kennedy while Emily is at work. I walked into the bathroom and noticed Trey and Kennedy with their arms in the sink while Wyatt was trying vigorously to clean off the marker that was all over their arms. There was soap and water all over the place. I'm sure Trey came up with this idea. He loves to get in trouble. I think the picture says's it all! Sorry Chad and Emily. I really do keep an eye on the kids.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY FROM THE BERGSJO'S

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY

Here's just a few of the things are family did over the 4Th of July. Friday morning we headed out to the Farr West parade and were a little disappointed. We wanted to support our hometown but when we got there the parade lasted about four minutes. We were thinking wow that was a great parade. We got in the car and headed over to the North Ogden parade and we were definitely not disappointed. It's a huge parade and the kids got way too much candy and not just salt water taffy. They got air heads, chips ahoy, gum, Boston baked beans, chap stick, gift certificates and my man caught a shirt for me. Tarrin took a picture of us at the parade.
We didn't have time to see the whole parade since it's so long because we had tickets to see Walle. The kids really enjoyed it. Kev and I thought it was rather long and a little boring but hey the kids liked it. Later that night we went to dinner at Wingers and headed to the Farr West fireworks. The were so good! They had free ice cream and drinks and the firework show was awesome. We had so much fun being together as a family.
Today I went to Logan because my friend Amy and my friend Tami were in town. We went to lunch and watched Tami try on wedding dresses for her upcoming wedding. It was so much fun. Things have definitely changed since I tried on wedding dresses. I guess that was almost ten years ago. The have such pretty dresses and Tami looked beautiful in all of them. I had so much fun. It was just like old times. Love ya Tami and Amy!

MAISEY'S NEW TRICK

I was feeding Maisey some applesauce and trying to sneak in some green beans yesterday and all she would do is smile and stick out her tongue. Now all she does is stick out her tongue. I think it's so cute! Maybe she thinks she is a lizard.

3 JOYS

1. My husband- Besides my kids, Kevin is the one person who can cheer me up with just his smile. I wouldn't have as much joy in my life if it wasn't for him.

2. My kids- I have so much joy in watching my kids grow. I love to see their little personalities. The funny things they do and say.

3. My testimony- My testimony has grown so much since we moved here. I have had some really moving spiritual experiences and have grown a lot. I have a long way to go but I hope that I can continue to strengthen my testimony.

3 FEARS

1. Something happening to my kids or husband. I think every parent fears this. I try not to think about what might happen cause that's no way to live your life. Aways worrying about what could go wrong. I try to just take things as they come.

2. Falling off a cliff- The older I get I am more afraid of heights. I hate even thinking about being up high and looking over the edge. I will never, ever go on the rides on top of the Stratosphere in Vegas ever again. There is nothing worse than being that high up with the wind blowing and your just praying that your going to live.

3. Getting pregnant- I am perfectly content to just have four kids for now. I have reached my limit for this time. I hope this doesn't jinx me. I am terrified of getting pregnant. I wonder if there's a way to preform a vasectomy on someone when they are sleeping :)

3 GOALS

1. Get this body toned! I lack motivation in this department. I know I just need to get off my butt and start working out. I can't use the excuse that I just had a baby since she will be six months old in fifteen days.

2. Get back in a routine- Since Maisey was born I have just not been able to get the things done that I need to. I am hoping that when school starts up again, I can get back to normal. I love having a baby again but someone needs to do the laundry.

3. Cook more- I enjoy cooking and I haven't been doing very much of it lately.

3 SURPRISING FACTS

1. My second toe is longer than my big toe.

2. I was on the Z.C.M.I fashion board when I was 15 yrs old.

3. I am reluctant to try new foods. But after Kevin bugs me enough I usually find that I really like it and have been missing out on something very good. Such as sushi, panang, scallops, prime rib, lobster, crab, shrimp, gyro's, clam chowder and jalapeno poppers.
