HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO US!
This year for our Anniversary we went to Seattle Washington. I have never been there before so I thought it might be a good time to go. Since Maisey is still so small we took her with us. She was such a good baby during the whole trip. When we first arrived in Seattle, I was so hungry from not eating Breakfast that I wanted to find something quick. We saw a P.F.Changs so we had lunch there. That was a big mistake since an hour later we went to Pikes Place Market and could have chose almost any kind of food we wanted. It was so much fun to walk around at all the shops and see all the different types of food. One of my favorite places was Beechers, a place where they make all different kinds of cheeses. They had the worlds best mac and cheese. It really was the best mac and Ch's I have ever had. Kevin's favorite place was Jacks Fish and Chips. He went there three times during our stay. He got fried scallops( I tried and actually really liked)Oysters(He didn't like very much but he has to try everything :)and some shrimp. They pull the stuff right out of the water and fry it up for you. We also really like a place that had this stuff that was like doughnut holes only bigger and extremely tasty. Of course Kevin got these little doughnuts that he remembered getting at his first trip to Seattle. We brought some home for the boys. It was so much fun walking around and seeing all the different kinds of food. They had fresh everything! From flowers(They sold them for 15$ for a whole big bouquet)all fresh produce(some stuff I had never seen or heard of)Fresh seafood(yummy!)and cheese. It was fun to see all the different performers on all the street corners trying to earn a buck. They was some really interesting people. All of my pictures were either Maisey and I or Masiey and Kevin. It was hard to find someone to take your picture for you. In Utah if you just look like you need your picture taken you usually have a dozen people offering to take one for you. In Seattle You feel like you don't want to put any one out.
On Wednesday night Kevin had made reservations to take a boat over to Tillimucun Village where they did a Indian dance and a salmon dinner. It was so much fun. The dinner was delicious and the entertainment was good. Someone actually offered to take our picture. Maisey was a little camera shy.

Overall it was a really nice get away. I don't think I will forget the sites or sounds anytime soon. I am so grateful that Kevin just plans these trips for us to take. The last two years he just asks me where I would like to go and he plans the whole thing. How many husbands do that? I can't believe we have been married nine years! I have known Kevin since I was fifteen years old. I love him more and more everyday. Thanks so much for a wonderful time.

RECIPES
I have started a goal for myself of making at least one or two new recipes a week, Or something I haven't made for awhile. Last Sunday for lunch I made Chicken and asparagus crepes. They turned out really yummy. A really good recipe right now because asparagus is in season.
I was going to make this chocolate chip pie for book club last week but I didn't have enough time, so I made it on Sunday when I had more time. I liked it. Instead of the walnuts, I used pecans. It tastes like a chocolate chip cookie only it's a pie.
I get a lot of my recipes off food network.com. Both of these are Paula Dean's. If you want the recipe just go the website and do a search. I'll try to post the recipes I try and like. I like to look back and remember what I've made that I've liked when I get in a rut.

MORE BABIES?
Aaahh! Sunday morning. Kevin woke up early and made us some wonderful bacon, eggs, and hasbrowns for breakfast. I love Sundays of course for the spiritual uplifting from church , naps (yeah right) and to be together as a family. My number one reason is that Kevin doesn't work Sunday's and I get to see him somewhere other than the dealership. I do really appreciate all the time and energy that he spends to support our family. I do have to admit that it's kinda nice that he doesn't have a calling right now. He was just released as financial clerk. He has had that calling for over four years. I know it will be short lived so I'm trying to enjoy it while I can. After breakfast we were all hanging out downstairs and I was watching Deliver Me, A show about delivering babies. Trey was watching a little bit of it when he patted my stomach and informed me " three more babies, mom" I was like " I don't think so!" I think four is a great number. Seven would definitely put me in the crazy house. Tarrin said " I don't want anymore babies that would make us too busy!" We have been talking a lot lately about if were done. I don't know the answer right now but I do know that were either done or it will be another ten years!

TRYING TO ROLL OVER
Maisey has decided that she wants to start rolling from her back to her stomach. Yesterday I noticed that she had moved from the place that I had put her on the couch.( No more setting her on the couch). Today she put so much effort into trying to roll over that she tired herself out and fell asleep on the floor after I had given her, her binkie.
Thinking about it.

Getting ready.

I'm trying so hard.

Almost there.

That's enough work for one day.

JAZZ VS. ROCKETS

Last night we went to the Jazz game. They played the Rockets. It was really fun. It was only the second time that I have left Maisy. It was a little different not having any of the kids with me. It was nice getting away with just my husband. Those moments are rare lately. In the seats in front of us Kevin recognized Scott Crawford , Who used to be the rep. for Pentax camera. Kevin used to work at Inkley's at the same time Scott was there. Scott was the guest photographer for the night. He e-mailed Kev a few photo's. I liked this one with Boozer. The Jazz won. Yeah!
P.S. What the heck is this on my lawn! I thought this was April.

MAISEY IS THREE MONTHS OLD!
Maisey is three months old today and I can't believe how fast it has gone by. It seems like yesterday I was seeing her for the first time. The first words out of my mouth were "Is she okay, and Is it a girl?" Even though the doctor had told me I was having a girl since I was 12 wks. along I could not believe it until I saw her for the fist time. She has been such an alert child. I am always wondering what she is thinking when I'm looking into those beautiful big eyes of hers. She has been such a joy in our family. She is only waking up around 3:00 a.m to eat, Which is good since I think I'm really starting to need my sleep. I feel so tired lately! I can't wait until I get a full night without any interruptions.
