Literacy Night

Trey turns 11

Trey wanted Kevin to take him pizza and mountain dew to his school for lunch on his birthday. It was fun being with Trey for lunch. Later that night we had a family dinner at Tempanaki's and had cake and ice cream at Andy and Tiffany's with Kevin's family the next day. Of course the kid wanted money and has been slowly spending it on things since. He took his friend Quinn and went to the Jump Zone in Layton. We love our Trey!

Wyatt's blue apron

Wyatt has really enjoyed his Tuesday night cooking classes. His teacher is really nice and he really loves cooking new recipes. He especially loves making ravioli and noodles. Kevin got him a pasta machine and he has been cooking for us. It is fantastic! Last week he tested for his blue apron and got it! We are proud of our chef!

St. George

We have had a lot of fun in St. George lately. We have visited twice in the last month. Pioneer Park has been the kids favorite! They love climbing the rocks and looking for lizards. We also went down for Justin's memorial service. It was a good service and we are so glad that we went. It was great to catch up with Kevin's aunts and families and his cousins. It was also nice to meet Justin's little boy and play with him at Pioneer Park. Such fun times!

Maseiy's field trip to the Hospital

Maisey had a field trip to McKay Dee Hospital. It was really fun! She came home and said "Mom,You won!!" I was one of the parents that got to chaperone the field trip. The bus was really loud! Maisey was happy that I was there and she could lay on my shoulder and rest on the way there. They had different stations where they learned lots of things about the hospital. Maisey liked giving the dolls shots and learning about hospital beds and casts. They really did a good job of showing the kids that hospitals are not scary.

Maisey's Baptism

Masiey was baptized on Feb. 6th, 2016. It was a nice day surrounded by family and friends. Kevin gave her a beautiful blessing. All the boys participated in her baptism. Tarrin played I Love to See The Temple on his guitar and Wyatt gave the talk on the Holy Ghost and Trey on Baptism. My mom gave the opening prayer and I gave the closing. Afterwards we had breakfast at our church house. I am so proud of Maisey's decision to be baptized. We are so lucky to have her in our family. Her friend Laynee was getting baptized right after and was able to come sneak in and give Maisey a hug before her time. Maisey's best friend Kauri and family were also there. We are so grateful to have such an amazing family and wonderful friends to support our family.
