Cousins and Fun

My brother and family came and visited for a week and then him and his wife went to Italy for nine days. I watched the girls while they were away. The kids had a lot of fun! Me and my older brother Chris took them to the Children's Museum and Kevin took all the older kids to Hill Air force museum on his day off. I decided to go and get bronchitis and a sinus infection while they were here which wasn't very fun but we made it through. We had a lot of pizza and did a lot of fun stuff together. Gwen was great but still a ten month old so it took a little getting used to. My parents came down one day and took the girls to see the movie Chimpanzee. It was a great help! It also helped that the boys were in school so I didn't have all eight kids the whole time. On Sunday my mom and dad had a get together at their house with the family and I got a picture with most of the grand kids in the canoe. I love my nieces so much and they are such great kids!

Happy Anniversary

This year for our Thirteenth anniversary Kevin surprised me by taking me to The Stein Ericksen Lodge in Park City. It was so beautiful! The room was amazing and had two fireplaces. My favorite was the hot tub on our own private balcony overlooking the mountains and ski slopes. We had dinner at the lodge and it was so yummy. They make their own chocolates there and I have never had better chocolates! It was a great surprise and very romantic! He also sent me flowers the day before we left. Thanks Hon your the best!

Wyatt's 9th Birthday

Wyatt turned nine years old on May 1st. Things were a little crazy because I was watching my brothers four kids but it was fun to have them here for Wyatt's birthday. Jen Vesper at Kevin's work made Wyatt a lego pirates of the Caribbean cake and it turned out awesome! Wyatt was so excited when he saw it. We didn't want to cut into it, it was so neat! He got a BB gun and kid Icarus which is a DS game. I love when his cousins make their own card for the kids. It's so cute! We had Kevin's family come down for cake and ice cream. After we ate some cake and ice cream Kevin set up the figurines from the cake and Wyatt shot at them with is BB gun. Fun times! We love Wyatt so much and love his personality. He is such a good kid! happy Birthday Wyatt!

San Francisco

In April I went with Tami and Lea to our annual girls trip. I flew into Reno and visited with Tami and family and then the next day we drove to San Francisco. We had a lot of fun eating and shopping and catching up. We sure did miss our Amy though, she was taking care of Camden who was having some oxygen issues. I didn't take my camera and new I would regret it and I did. Tami sent me a disc but for some reason my computer isn't reading it. Hopefully I can get it figured out and then I can post some pictures. I love having our girls trip every year and always look forward to it.

New Orleans

I am going to have to play catch up. I am extrememly behind on my blogging. May has been really busy! Kevin won a trip from Buick to the Final Four Championship game in New Orleans. He had a blast! He go to see the game and The Fray was the halftime show. He got to eat lots of yummy food and see a lot of really neat historical sites. He had a lot of fun but we sure did miss him for the few days that he was gone. Trey really liked his basketball and beads that Kevin brought back for him! Here is a few of the pics from his trip.

Easter

On Saturday I took the kids to the Farr West Egg hunt. It was fun to watch the kids run and get their Easter eggs. Maisey likes her bunny glasses. Easter was beautiful and the kids had so much fun! Kevin's friend Robert came to church with us and then brought his little girl Taylie over for an Easter egg hunt at our house. We had some yummy lunch and Maisey loved having a little friend over. Later we headed to Logan and had dinner and an Easter egg hunt with Kevin's family. The kids had so much fun! It was such a beautiful day and I am so thankful for my Savior and the Atonement. I hope everyone had a great day!

Nothing like a pet fish to brighten your day!

I think Maisey is still having a little anxiety from the accident. Today when I dropped her off at Preschool she came running out of the school crying and telling me that she didn't want me to leave. This is not normal behavior for her at all. It just breaks my heart that her world has been shaken up a bit. With some cuddling from her teacher she went back inside and was fine. After an hour of some projects we went and flew kites and had some lunch at the park. It was such a nice day and Maisey had lots of fun! When we got back Maisey went to her little friend Kauri's Birthday Party. When I picked her up she was all smiles. She got to make a sea shell necklace and she had on a cute little headband and the funnest part was a goldfish! She named her goldfish "Starfish" and she is so happy. We love to see her smiles! She has been doing pretty good and really doesn't like to talk about the accident but Kevin took her and the boys to see the car and that seemed to help her a little. I have been on an emotional roller coaster and I'm so ready to be off of it. I am not usually an emotional person but the last week has been crazy to say the least. I think Maisey and I are ready to forget about the accident and move on.
