Trey thinks he is turning into a crocodile

Trey is convinced that he is turning into a crocodile. His skin on his hands were really dry and I told him "Trey, Your skin is so dry you must be turning into a crocodile" Since then He really thinks that after awhile he will turn into a crocodile. Today he told me that we will have to build a big cage for him and give him meat to eat. I told him if he was a crocodile that he probably couldn't live with us anymore and he said "I will probably be a nice one, Mom" I told him I have never seen a nice crocodile but I guess we will wait and see. Trey say's that his hands will be the first to change. "They will get really small" Sometimes I wonder where he got his imagination.

Baby Animal Days

Today was baby animal day's. Every year I go with my sister Amanda but this year she decided to take a trip to Disneyland and go see my brother who lives out there. Sometimes my sister-in-laws come. This year my three sister-in-laws, Tara, Kim, Tiffany, Tara's sister and Kevin's cousin Heidi came. It was a lot of fun! First we went and saw the baby bears. They were so cute and Maisey was so concerned when one of the babies fell off of a tree branch. Here is Trey wearing his cool mask they gave him before we saw the bears.

Next we saw the baby goats. Trey and Maisey had a blast running around with them.

Then there was the little bunnies. I think this is Maisey's favorite. She loves to pet the bunnies, They are so soft and cuddly.

We rode the train, Did the candy cannon, Had some little doughnuts, Trey drew a picture, and played Macey's Jeopardy. It was really fun and something I know that me and the kids look forward to every year. Unfortunately Tarrin and Wyatt had school so they weren't with us.
After we went and got lunch at Fredrico's and headed to the park for some much needed conversation. The kids had so much fun with their cousins and I had a good time visiting with the girls. It was a lot of fun and I will post the picture with all of the kids in it when my sister-in-law sends it to me :)

Good Movie- How to train your dragon

Kevin took the boys to the movie on Tuesday night. The kids love spending time with just boys and they love watching movies together! Me and Maze got a yummy salad at Costa Vita and headed home for a relaxing girls night. Maisey isn't ready just yet to sit and watch a movie. The boys thought the movie was great and they couldn't stop talking about it. Kevin said it was really good too.

Easter

On Saturday I took the kids to the Farr West City Easter egg hunt. It was a little cold but the kids didn't seem to mind too much except for Maisey. We got there about five minutes before it started and it took only a couple of minutes for it to be over. The kids had a lot of fun. I was so gratefulmy friend Kami had come with me and watched the boys since they were all in different age groups. After the egg hunt we headed over to the Treehouse. I had seen that they had a bunch of puppets from all over the world being displayed. I absolutely love the Treehouse and my kids do too. I decided to get a season pass since we enjoy it so much. After we had played for a couple of hours we went and got lunch and went back to the Treehouse for a puppet show from a guy in California who does a puppet show a couple of times a year at the Treehouse. The kids loved it! He had a talking dragon and Trey and Maisey thought it was real. Maisey just kept staring at it like it was talking just to her. After that we left and made one more stop to get a gelata at Zeppe's. It was their opening day for the season and of course we weren't going to miss the chance to get one! It was wonderful and I know that I am going to have to try not to stop there too many times this Summer.
Sunday morning the kids got up and the Easter bunny had hid their Easter baskets. They found them pretty quick and were happy with what he brought. There was plenty of candy and chocolate. Trey and Wyatt got yo-yo balls, Tarrin got a small lego set and Maisey got a little purse with chapstick and a bracelet in it. They all got new kites which they were able to try out. The kids love to fly kites! In between Conference we headed up to Logan and had a Easter feast with Kevin's family. We had our annual Easter egg hunt which is always a fun treat. I love seeing the kids dash for Easter eggs and the kids love being with their cousins. Maisey was so funny, When we said go she just looked at all the kids like they were crazy and then when Kev's mom helped her put an egg in her basket she threw it out! After having a tizzy fit for a minute she finally got the hang of it and went and searched for some eggs. Here she is with a frown on her face.Waiting to start.

Mad dash for the eggs.

I hope everybody had a great Easter!

Random

If you want a really good book, Go and check out The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins! It's a page turner from the start! A little morbid but I couldn't put it down. It's got action, suspense, And a little bit of a love story. (Shelly you would like this and I have your list for you) The second book in the series was just has good as the first one. I have to wait for Mockingbird which is the last one in the series but it doesn't come out until the end of August. Other than reading Maisey has of course kept me on my toes. She decided to put a broken piece of my library card into the drive of my new computer! We took it down to the Apple store at the Gateway and thankfully it didn't do anything to the drive. She is such a stinker! She tried putting more things into the computer today but I got after her and put a piece of tape over it. That girl has turned into such a two year old, As soon as she is done doing something to make me want to pull my hair out she is on to the next! The good thing about having to go and get the computer is that we all went down as a family and checked out the planetarium, Had some good dinner at Biaggi's (delicious Italian food) and some yummy desert at Rocky Mountain Factory. It was really fun and the kids enjoyed it. I just wish that it wouldn't have been snowing. Last Saturday I met up with the girls from my home ward and we had dinner and chatted. I love these girls so much! It's great that we bonded so much growing up and going to Young Women's camp and now I get to go this year and experience it as a leader. I am really looking forward to it! Carly called me and asked it I wanted to go and try out the Zumba class at the gym. I was actually surprised at how much fun it was. I have absolutely no rhythm but it was fun trying it and I definitely want to keep going and hopefully I can catch on. I think the funnest part was going with friends and laughing at how goofy we looked. Trey was getting sick of Maisey bugging him the other day and he said" Mom I don't want a sister anymore". I said "Well, What should we do with her"? He said" Give her to someone else."

P.S. I can only be on the computer while my kids are safe in their beds, Because this is what happens! First Peanut butter then computer, then baking soda and the list goes on!

Easter Pictures!

We took some Easter pictures of the kids today and I was so happy to at least get one picture of all of them looking at the camera! It turned out really good that we had just got some baby chicks, Not only will we get some delicious eggs from them in a few months but they make great Easter props for pictures. We had a lot of fun and the kids love playing with the chicks. There is some more pictures on my photography blog if you want to see more.

Kids say the silliest things!

Trey has been saying some really funny things lately and asking all sorts of weird questions. Today he got out our wedding cake topper and asked me "Mom, did you get this as a prize at the temple"? and then he asked me " Are these people you and dad or Mary and Joseph"? He is so funny!
