They're Here!

My brother and his family are here from California! The kids are in heaven! They brought Chewy so they were so excited to see their old dog. Kevin was the most excited, I think he really misses his old dog.

Happy 5o Mom and Dad!

My parents fiftieth wedding anniversary was a week ago and we celebrated by having a dinner at Hamilton's with the family and a close friend of the family who can sing wonderfully. I think the night went great! Jeremy Threlfall sang a few songs and I absolutely love this one. He sings so wonderful! My parents say he is their adopted son. He also sang "Always" with my dad. That was their song at their wedding. He has been a close friend with my parents and they just love him!

My sister Amanda told me that she was going to sing a song that night. At first I thought she was kidding and then I thought she was just going to be funny and sing it silly. Well the day before the anniversary she came down to my house to help me paint and she sang the song a couple of times to me and asked me what I thought. I thought she did so good and the only thing I was worried about was if she was going to be too nervous. Well the night of the anniversary they found a waiter that could play the guitar. His name was Jake and you can see him on the video. Amanda was just going to pretend to play T and Wyatt's guitar but nothing beats the real thing. She did awesome! She has never sang in front of anybody before and she did so good! I was so proud of my little sis! Kevin couldn't believe it and made the comment "You think you really know someone and then they up and surprise you" She certainly surprised us and we love her so very much. Oh and she is quite the comedian and gave a hilarious little message to my parents also.

My parents stood and held hands and told each other how much they loved each other. They are such a great example of a loving marriage. All the kids stood and took a minute to tell my parents how much we loved them and what a great example they are to all of us. The in laws also stood and said a few things and Kevin was so sweet in what he said to them. What a wonderful time we all had and I just love my parents so much! I was so happy with how the night turned out. It took a lot of planning and I am thankful that the daughters pulled it all together. We love you mom and dad!

Maisey loves to paint

My friends Kami and Anessa spent days making these cute little bags for Kami's cousin who needs a liver transplant. They sewed all the bags and then put cute things in them. Maisey just had to have a cute little rainbow one and it came with paper, paints, and stickers. She has painted twice today and loves it! They raised a lot of money and I am so proud of them. Great job girls!

Having a little sprinkler fun!

Summer break has been a blast so far, other than the kids fighting more than usual I have really enjoyed just taking it easy and enjoying these warm days. I love the day like yesterday where the kids stay outside all day and play in the sprinklers. They had so much fun today with Hannah and Tristan playing in the water. Tarrin was off playing with Zoe and I didn't see him much either. Besides taking advantage of the warm weather I have read four really good books. The kitchen House and the Poison Study trilogy. I have been keeping busy with my photography and have enjoyed meeting some really awesome people. We have spending a lot of time at toads and taking advantage of the batting cages. It's a lot of fun. We love summer and enjoy going to the dollar shows. My kids have seen almost all of the movies but love going to see them again and I love eating the popcorn so I can't complain. We saw African cats with Kevin and I took the kids to Matilda. Maisey really liked Matilda! We have been getting to bed late but its nice when the kids sleep in and I get to sleep in also! Sorry such a random post. Tarrin had four of his molars pulled yesterday. He did amazing and the dentist was so proud and so was I. Now he will have room for his other teeth to move in. His retainer is working great and we can already see a difference! Yeah for summer!

Cute Rapunzels

What's better than wearing princess dresses 24/7? Having a best friend who has the same dress!

St. George Weekend

This past weekend I went to St. George with my mom and sisters Stephanie and Amanda. My sister Jennifer wasn't able to come and we missed her. It was a blast! I got to go to lunch with my friend Amy who lives there and see her cute little baby Camden. Oh my goodness he is so dang cute! I wish we lived closer but I was so happy to see her and meet her new little guy.

We did a lot of relaxing! Laying by the pool and eating and shopping! I had the best burger I have ever had at Smash Burger thanks to Amy's recommendation. It was fabulous! Me and Amanda could not get enough of the pool and we wanted to cry when we left. They let us check out a little later than usual so that was good. On Sunday we walked the grounds of the temple. It is so beautiful! The grounds of the temple is also gorgeous and they have such beautiful trees and plants.

We went and got a pedicure which was fun and now I have purple toenails! I can't get this picture bigger! Sorry

Amanda wanted to go and see the red rocks so we went and saw them for a minute but it was so dang hot so we didn't stay for long.

We went and saw the movie Soul Surfer which was really good. We had such a good time and it was so relaxing that we are planning on doing it every year. I came home to a clean house and a happy husband and kids. What more could you ask for. I am so grateful to my wonderful SIL Tara who watched the kids on Friday and Saturday while Kevin was at work. She is so awesome and is so supportive of me and helps me so much when she knows I need a much needed break. She text ed me the cutest picture of Maisey with her hair sparkly and toes and fingernails painted with sparkly nail polish. Maisey was in heaven and the boys said they had so much fun. They just love their aunt Tara!

Toads Fun Zone

We got Toads Fun Zone passes for the kids and it has been so worth it! I think we got our moneys worth the first couple of days and now we get to go for a whole year. The kids have a blast and I have to say that Kevin is loving it just as much as the kids. You have unlimited to the go karts, two miniature golf courses, laser tag, batting cages and 20% of the arcade. I was surprised how much fun the batting cages are. We have a blast!
