Puppet Show

The kindergarten did their puppet shows today. I am a horrible parent and didn't look through Treys backpack last night and discover the paper that told the date and time of the puppet show. So I missed the puppet show and as soon as Trey came home from school and I saw the puppet in his hand I knew what I had done! The sad thing is Kevin didn't have to work until noon today and we both could have went and watched it. So disappointing! This is the puppet where Maisey got burned by the glue gun on her arm when she was watching me help make it and ran to get the phone and tripped over the glue gun and it landed right on her arm. You would think we would have gotten one positive thing from the whole experience like watching the show! Oh well we had a good time making it until Maisey got burned and to see Trey's face when it was made was priceless. His puppet was the giant from Jack and the Beanstalk. I love his face in this picture!

Wyatt's Baptism

Wyatt was baptized and confirmed on the 14Th of May. He friend Conner Jones was also baptized the same day. Tarrin gave the talk on Baptism and did a really good job. My SIL Tara did the opening prayer. My dad and Kevin's dad were the witnesses. Kevin gave Wyatt a great confirmation. I am so thankful for such a great husband who holds the priesthood and a am so proud of Wyatt for his decision to be baptized. It was a great day filled with support from family and friends.

More Soccer

Trey had another game on Saturday. He scored so I told him I would take him to the dollar store but since Tarrin still isn't feeling great we went yesterday. He picked out a butterfly net. It is so fun to watch him play! Good job Trey!

Happy Mothers Day

My kids are the greatest! I got a homemade puzzle, a magnet, mothers coupons for hugs and help around the house, and a couple of pretty pictures! I loved watching Wyatt's face get so excited when I opened my gift and he showed me my picture frame. I love my kids more than anything and I love being a mom! I hope everyone had a great mothers day!

Tarrin's Tonsillectomy

Tarrin had his Tonsillectomy/Partial adenoid surgery on Wednesday. Check in was at 9:15 at Primary Children's same day surgery. The place was busy! We have had a lot of surgeries in the past and the waiting room was packed. Tarrin didn't seem to be nervous and played his DS while we waited to be checked in. When we got to the room where he would be checked over to see if he was healthy enough to be able to go into surgery he was outfitted in his hospital clothes. They were out of the child's large pants so he got some regular men's pants which were huge!

It was okay after I tightened them and rolled them over a few times. He got checked over and played a little video games and then it was time to wait in the other room.

After a little bit we talked with Dr. Munz and the anesthesiologist. Then they took him back. I wish this part gets easier but it never does for me. Tarrin had a fathers blessing that morning and was not acting nervous at all but it always worries me when they take them away. I don't think that will ever change.

We waited for about an hour and then Dr. Munz came and talked with us. Everything went good and I guess his tonsils were long and it was good they took them out. Now we just hope that it will clear up his sleep apnea! I was able to go back and see him. Only one parent can go back at first. Tarrin always has a hard time coming out of anesthesia. I guess he was sitting up and back down a bunch and having a hard time. As soon as I got there and talked with him and comforted him, He calmed down a little. After we got to the next room they called Kevin back and Tarrin finally fell asleep. He slept for awhile and then he was able to go home.

Tarrin threw up a few times on the way home. I had to make sure and give him his medicine every four hours. He did pretty good the first day and yesterday was also pretty good. He doesn't like to talk and he's only eating ice cream but he did manage to eat some mashed potatoes and gravy last night. This morning was a little difficult for him and he was in a lot of pain. After a little while when the medicine got into his system he was able to sleep and now seems to be doing a little better. I hate seeing him in pain and hope the recovery goes quickly. I am so thankful for my friends and neighbors who helped watch the other kids while we down at the hospital and for the calls and support for Tarrin. We love you Tarrin!

Wyatt is Eight!

It seems like as the kids get older their birthdays are not limited to one day but a few days of festivities. Last Saturday the family went to Tepanaki to celebrate Wyatt's birthday the following day. It's so funny that the kids always pick this place to go for their birthday dinner. It was a good time with the volcano of onions and the throwing of shrimp in our mouths. Later we went to the Tooth Fairy and had some cupcakes and cake bites. They are to die for! On Sunday after church we headed to Logan to go and have some cheesecake with Kevins family. Wyatt's favorite is cheesecake and that is what he wanted for his birthday. We got him some Xbox games and a new 3DS game.

He read all of his cards in detail to all of his guests.

His Grandpa and Grandma Bergsjo gave him a set of scriptures with his name engraved on them. We are so excited for his upcoming baptism in a couple of weeks. Wyatt is such a loving, compassionate person. We are so grateful to have him in our family. Love you Wyatt!
