Surgery Again
We went to the E.N.T who we see every six months. The last time that we went he wanted to see Tarrin and Masiey back three months later to check on some fluid that they had in one of their ears. Tarrin looks okay but they are still watching one ear and want to see him back in a few months. Maisey will be getting her second set of tubes the first week in Febuary. We also have eye appointments later this month and Tarrin is scheduled for a sleep study also later this month. This upcoming surgery will be number twelve or thirteen surgeries for us combined with all of the kids. We have done ear tubes a lot and is one of the easiest so I am grateful for that. We all have our trials and this is definitely a trial for my sweet kids. Every time we go to a surgery, Whether it be an easy one or a difficult surgery I wish it was me instead.
Such a Simple Request
On the way home from church yesterday Tarrin asked me "Mom can we have another sister" I replied "No!" and then he said "You say no to everything!"

The Dentist

After Wyatt's horrible experience with the dentist I was happy to be going back to our new dentist who I trust a million times more. Kev and I had dentist appointments in the morning and all the kids had appointments in the afternoon. We are always running around with are heads chopped off on Wednesday because it's Kev's day off and we try to pack everything in. After I got back from Wyatt's basketball practice we had to wake up Maisey from her nap and I was worried that she would be awful at the dentist. She kept watching all of her brothers get their teeth cleaned and get x-rays and she would tell the ladies no when they asked her if she was ready to get her teeth cleaned and x-rays. Well when it was her turn she just decided not to put up a fight and got right in the chair and did what they asked. Kev and I were shocked and Kev took some pics and video with the i-pod because we were not expecting such a good outcome. She did a great job! Trey and Maisey had no cavities, Tarrin had one small one and will need to get into the orthodontist soon and Wyatt had a crown re cemented and will need to get the one tooth that caused so much trouble removed and a spacer put in.

The Little Things

Sometimes you have to just stop and enjoy the little things. Before church Maisey and Trey were playing with the play dough containers and with all of the choas of getting everybody ready for church I needed to just stop and take a breath. I realize they aren't going to be little forever and it's fun to sit and watch them play.
Another Year
Well another year has gone by and I got to celebrate another birthday yesterday. Yuck! Thirty one! Oh well I guess there is no way of stopping it. My friends Anissa and Kami took me took me out for a wonderful breakfast at Jermiah's and I was able to spend the day in peace and quiet since the kids went back to school. Later we went as a family to Olive Garden. I am grateful for all of the calls and texts that make me feel so loved. It was a nice day and It was nice to spend it with my family.

Christmas and lots of Family Fun!
My brother and his family arrived the Friday a week before Christmas. When they first got here we sat and visited for a minute and my brother told his wife Amanda to show me this cute new shirt that he had bought for her. She was wearing a zip up hoodie so you couldn't see what was on underneath. Well she stood up and showed us. There wasn't a new shirt but a baby bump! She is about fifteen weeks along and we are so excited for them. I had to give them a hard time because they kept it from me but I have to admit it was a fun way of finding out!
On Saturday we got some snow and the kids all went out to play in it except Wyatt who was getting over a sickness. I was glad we got some snow because my nieces don't ever get to see it and play in it. Ella and Maisey had fun playing with eachother and the kids had so much fun and were outside for hours!

On Saturday night we had our Fiagle Family Christmas party with the adults. My niece Meagan and her friend watched mine and my brothers kids. We had dinner at Iggy's and then went to my sister's house and played games. It was a blast! It is always a good time hanging out with my family. We sure do know how to laugh and have a good time!
We went and saw Tangled while my sister and her husband took my brother snowmobiling. It was such a cute movie! I absolutely loved it and lucky for Maisey Santa brought her a baby Rupunzel for Christmas!
During the week my sister and SIL and I made these cute little stocking that look like long johns. It was fun to work on a project but I found out that I am not very good at hand sewing things (I pretty much suck at it). My SIL Amanda did most of my stockings and helped me out a ton. Thanks Amanda!

On Christmas eve we made a nice dinner and had some of my family over. I have an open door policy at my house and the more the merrier. We had lots of people coming and going and it was a blast! There is nothing like sharing your home with people that you love. I am especially glad that my sister Amanda comes down almost everyday that they are here. We have a great time.
Christmas was so much fun this year. The kids were so happy and it was fun to watch open their presents. They also had cousins to play with which made it extra fun! Their favorites were a wii game for Tarrin, Wyatt loved his Dippin Dots maker and had a blast making them for his cousins. Trey liked his video camera and cars and Maisey loved her princess dolls and Rupunzel dress.

Later we went to Kevin's sisters house to open presents and have lunch. The kids are always spoiled by Kevin's parents. Tarrin got the Inkheart books and a DS game, Wyatt got a magic kit and some cool books about wild creatures, Trey got some lincoln logs and a race track, Maisey got a dress up box and paper dolls. They were super excited and had lots of fun!

Later we went over to my parents house. It was nice to see everyone and visit. I got to see my newphews Tyson and Taylor who I don't get to see very often. It was fun but we were beat!

It was a wonderful day, Filled with people that we love. I am thankful for the true meaning of Christmas, The birth of our Savior.
My brother Shawn was deployed on the 26th of December. He is heading to Bagram Afganistan to serve our country. I am so proud of him! I am so grateful to all the men and women who serve our country so that we can be free! I love you Shawn and I'm going to miss you!

Fun Times

My brother and his family left today after a fun filled week. Kev and I love having them come and we are always sad to see them leave. We had a blast and can't wait to tell you all about it but first I need to recoup and get some things done around my house. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and I hope my brother travels safely back to California now that we are finally getting some snow.
